Refunds

Eligibility

Refunds apply to confirmed programme fees paid to Route Maphub. Published prices that were never invoiced cannot be “refunded”. Consumer enrolments in the United Kingdom also keep statutory cooling-off rights where the law grants them, as noted below.

Timeframe

Write to us at least fourteen calendar days before the first sitting of a live programme for a full refund of that programme’s fee. Notices inside fourteen days are treated as late cancellations. Field Notes packs are eligible for a full refund only if we have not yet started the marked-up review, which we timestamp in the acknowledgement email.

Full and partial refunds

A full refund is the fee paid for the cancelled booking, excluding any bank charges we cannot recover. A partial refund of 50% applies if you withdraw after the first Studio sitting but before the fourth; after the fourth sitting the remaining fee is earned, because critique slots cannot be resold at short notice. Route Licence workshops that you miss without notice are not refunded; if we cancel the date, you receive a full refund or a seat on the next comparable date, at your choice.

Non-refundable items

Travel, hotels, vendor licences, and your internal engineering time are never refundable by us. Printed extras you asked us to post, once dispatched, are not refundable. Private Observatory tables negotiated as a custom timetable follow the cancellation clause in that confirmation letter if it differs from this page.

Refund process

Email info@route-maphub.digital with the subject “Refund” and the programme name, the confirmation date, and the name on the invoice. We acknowledge within two working days and confirm the amount. Do not send card details in email.

Processing time and method

Approved refunds travel by the original payment method where the bank still allows it, or by UK bank transfer if that method has expired. Allow ten working days after approval for the money to show. International transfers may take longer; we do not add a “processing fee” on our side, though your bank might.

Cancellation by the studio

If we cancel a term because a tutor is ill or the cohort is too small to critique properly, you receive a full refund or a transfer to a later term. We will not fill a cancelled Studio with a recorded substitute and call it the same product.

Exceptions

We may refuse a refund where materials were downloaded in bulk and the seat was used to copy a pack for a wider company without extra licences, or where a participant was removed for breaking confidentiality. Statutory rights for UK consumers, including the fourteen-day cooling-off period for distance contracts where it applies and has not been waived by starting a digital service early, remain. If cooling-off and the fourteen-day studio notice both apply, you receive the more favourable outcome, not both stacked.
